IdeaBank was launched by Nick Jerrat in August 2006. Nick has a passion for information technology, earning bachelor and master degrees in computer systems engineering from Curtin University of Technology, Western Australia in 2000 and 2004, respectively. For his master degree, he received a commendation from the chancellor of the university for his research into error resilient image compression. At present Nick relies on a network of engineering professionals to assist IdeaBank as contract partners when the need for their expertise arises.
